Clients, all services are being provided remotely and by appointment, and our building is closed to visitors.
Here at Resonance, we are doing everything we can to protect the health of our clients and ourselves. But addiction has been a public health emergency long before we heard of Coronavirus, and our clients need us now more than ever. The women we serve are at even greater risk right now: addiction is a disease of isolation, causing weak immune systems and higher rates of infection, and fear-induced anxiety can result in relapse. Thankfully, technology allows our therapists and case workers to provide ongoing virtual support, minimizing clients’ anxiety about safety, transportation, and childcare to maintain treatment.
