Reentry Services

Resonance staff members work with women during incarceration and continue to guide and support them as they build a new life outside of prison walls. Incarcerated women face many barriers upon release. Saddled with a felony record, many find difficulty securing employment and housing. They also have little money, no transportation, and often have problems stemming from substance abuse and addiction.

Resonance provides on-site services in all female correctional facilities in the state of Oklahoma; post release services are offered through Resonance’s main office in Tulsa and satellite office in Oklahoma City.

Resonance assists women during incarceration:

  • On-site substance abuse treatment
  • Educational classes including job readiness, parenting and financial literacy
  • Reentry planning and case management

Resonance assists women after incarceration:

  • Transitional living at Resonance House, or referrals to other safe, sober housing
  • Transitional employment and housing at Take 2: A Resonance Cafe and lofts, or referrals to other second-chance friendly employers
  • Transportation, including bus passes and ADSAC/DUI assessments
  • Weekly mentoring sessions, both online and in person
  • CARF accredited substance abuse treatment
  • Engagement in classes and/or vocational training, with stipends available on a limited basis
  • Limited cosmetic dentistry for eligible clients actively engaged in services
  • Linkage to community resources and other case management services
